Question #1 - What attracted you to the IHM Sisters? 

The IHM Sisters were alwasy present at school activities especially sports events.  They seemed to exhibit joy and enthusiasm before school, during school hours and especially AFTER  school.  

Question #2 -  What would you say to a young woman who feels drawn to religious life but is unsure or afraid to take the next step? 

I too was unsure and afraid.  Even on Entrance day I remember asking my father to drive the car around the Motherhouse instead of parking.  However,  we pray for the grace of perseverance every day and believe that God will provide.  Take one day at a time. 

Question #3 - What is one Bible verse or spiritual quote that has been especially meaningful in your life?  

Father of all that is good, keep us faithful in serving You. For to serve You is our lasting joy.  (From Mass on the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time) I try to remember that God has called me to become a sister servant who is a joyful bearer of God's redeeming love. 

Question #4 - If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?   

Don't be so hard on yourself
